A decision is a response to a particular situation and involves judgment, expectation, and evaluation. In every decision-making process, there are two main elements: choice and behavior, or in other words, the process of thinking and acting in response to external stimuli.

Choice and behavior are fundamental characteristics in decision-making and encompass the processes of thinking and action. Our motivations influence decision-making, as it involves selecting among options based on our expectations.

Between determinism and free will, we can only make decisions within our own choices. Decision-making requires emotional resilience to reach solutions, and self-belief significantly impacts decision-making ability. Self-belief is an overall assessment of an individual's personality and arises from real and objective evaluations. Self-belief can be positive or negative and generally influences an individual's belief in personal effort towards events and environmental occurrences; this is the same as individual resilience.

Decision-making is related to problem-solving, and high psychological resilience gives a strong sense of empowerment in solving favorite problems. Restlessness can make the problem-solving and decision-making process difficult and mental activity regarding intellectual issues can lead to internal turmoil and continuous restlessness.

High dynamism can lead to solving a large number of problems, and the curiosity of a dynamic individual is stimulated by any ambiguous issue. There are important individual differences in the quality of problem-solving and decision-making, which stem from personality aspects and cognitive methods.

Considering these factors, decision-making is one of the characteristics of stability in the realm of creativity, and by standing firm in the face of the environment, it becomes possible to make sustainable and creative decisions.
