Independence

Independence is the inclination towards performing tasks alone and autonomously, accompanied by respectable beliefs and opinions, and the possession of freedom.

In psychological literature, independence has been discussed as a psychological need, but independence-seeking is more than just a psychological need; it's an expectation from life that arises from environmental conditions and developmental acquisitions.

Results indicate that the personality trait of "independence" has a positive relationship with "curiosity" and "persistence." Additionally, analytical intelligence, based on the Kettle test, predicts a predictable relationship between "independence-seeking" and realistic valuation and a humorous personality.

In the dimensions of analytical intelligence, independence means: preferring to do tasks and activities alone and independently, observing standards, regulations, laws, and environmental norms, punctuality, effort in maintaining personal belongings and tidiness, trustworthy responsibility, striving for leadership, personal independence, risk-taking, emotional indifference, and dry behavior.
