ه-جامعه

ابزارهای هوش‌سنج موجود، توانایی شناسایی و کشف همه استعدادها و نخبگیهای برجسته را ندارند؛ یعنی نمی‌توان ادّعا کرد که تمامی انواع استعدادهای بشری در سطح جوامع خُرد و کلان، کشف شده‌اند. بلکه بخش اندکی از موهبتها و نخبگیها به طور اجتمالی مورد تشخیص قرار گرفته‌اند، معنای ساده بیان فوق آن است که هر جامعه‌ای بیش از آنکه رسماً آشکار شده‌، دارای نخبگان و ستاره‌های درخشان در صحنه استعداد بشری است.

آحاد مردم هرگاه تصور کنند که مفهوم «تیزهوشی» شامل فضایل اخلاقی است، دیگر ضرورت و الزامی را برای ایجاد یک نظام پرورشی ویژه نخبگان قائل نمی‌شوند. حال آنکه نخبگان بیش از سایر اقشار جامعه نیاز به تربیت و حمایت خاصّ دارند. پس اصلاح نگرش عمومی نسبت به پدیده نخبگی و تیزهوشی، امری بسیار ضروری است.
