تعریف انگلیسی
One of the fundamental phenomena derived from interactional psychology is the phenomenon of existential inertia. Existential inertia encompasses feelings of insecurity, restlessness, internal turmoil, thought rumination, and manifestations of pressure.
Insecurity: Insecurity refers to the presence of doubt and uncertainty in solving individual problems, which traps them and causes them to feel anxious and worried about solving their problems. Forgetfulness and memory weakness overwhelm them, and they remain envious of those who always have confidence.
Internal turmoil: Internal turmoil involves intense mental dialogue regarding engaging intellectual issues, which continuously traps the individual in constant mental turmoil and persistent inertia, bringing about feelings of loneliness and depriving them of sleep. Therefore, internal turmoil includes two characteristics.
Existential inertia, in a broader sense, meaning the intensity of mental activities and mental dialogue concerning intellectual issues, continuously traps the individual in internal turmoil, preoccupation, and constant restlessness. This condition is accompanied by confusion and a complete loss of confidence, trapping the individual in doubt and uncertainty about problem-solving. Forgetfulness and memory weakness burden them, especially when serious issues arise and remain unresolved. Feeling hopeless about oneself, gradually feeling exhausted, tiredness, and constant feelings of loneliness overwhelm them and manifest as lethargy and inactivity. This situation increases heart rate and palpitations, and the individual feels under pressure to perform activities with constant anxiety and worry, feeling pressured.
